pack a lunch and come join us for a nice and easy, family friendly ride!!! we’ll start at tiguex park and ride to the bosque trail to tingley park, head back through the country club neighborhood, and return to the park for a lovely afternoon picnic. meet at 10:30am, head out at 11:00am. we’ll ride for about an hour, and start the picnic around noon.

‘a long dam race. you better be dam ready to do a full 50 miles around the city and have a dam good time. this race will emphasize getting from place to place efficiently, the checkpoints will not be too difficult to find.
and there will be a little bbq afterward as well.

the race will start at ridgecrest park (ridgecrest and morningside se) sat. at 10 am.

sam will hand out maps and crayons 15 minutes before.

the race will finish at a house nearby, the info will be on the maps.’

it’s bike to work day…you better be riding.

speaking of riding…ride out to some duke city classic events this weekend.

bust out the quickest 13 miles of your life for prizes, glory, and bbq. registration begins @ 700pm, riders start launching at 730, at one minute intervals.

we start at the embudo channel trail and cutler…basically right under carlisle, just north of the interstate. we finish where we started…then wander over to rudy’s for prizes, bbq, and beer.

the route is a 13 mile out and back jaunt on the ndc (north diversion channel) trail. there is one stop sign to deal with (twice), the rest is wide open.

‘polo race (joyride/bar bikes encouraged, riders be prepared to carry a couple lbs. of stuff, this will be a task based, short distance event)

meet 1:00 at the unm duck pond, race will have a 2 hour time limit and will end at the heights community center/cnm bball courts 823 buena vista se ( south of coal & buena vista)

pickup polo (joyride/bar bikes)
meet between 3 and 5 at heights community center basketball courts (at cnm on buena vista se) to play some bicycle polo. mallets will be provided. we will do some basic lessons and play some low key games. pick up a mallet and give it a shot.’

it’s back! meet up (4.26.13) at one of our awesome local breweries around 11 (also known as la cumbre), fill some growlers, then head out around midnight on a short ride to the bosque. feel free to invite others you think may be interested.
