I just say Derek today, he seemed in good spirits. He said he spent 10 hours in the ER, is now out of painkillers and will be in a sling for 3 months. Not to mention the yellow/purple bruise on his broken clavicle.

hi! it’s derek smith. 10 hours UNM ER, simple clavicle fracture, $17 oxycodone at walgreens….bicycle games, Priceless! I really wanted to do the alleycat..oh well, bought myself a get well card while waiting for my painkillers. thanks to all that helped me get to the hospital..priceless again. god i love bicycles, but now i remember how fragile i am. maybe see ya’ll at the wrap up party..bed, sedation and movies for a couple of days.
